Hello all, Apologies for the delay since my last update, it has been very busy! Happily I now have some good results to update you on, here are some of the things I have been involved in recently: I have attended an address in Manston to conduct enquiries into drug-use. Enquiries led to the discovery of a small cannabis cultivation and the seizure of further suspected drugs. My colleagues and I dismantled this cultivation, and it will be destroyed. The suspect has been dealt with by way of an out-of-court disposal aimed at ensuring this offending does not reoccur. I hope this intervention has a positive impact on the surrounding community regarding antisocial behaviour.Whilst on patrol in my ward, I tracked down a suspect fleeing the scene of a domestic incident. The male was stopped and I arrested him on suspicion of assault. I have attended 11 calls since my last update in support of colleagues on response, and have also charged a suspect whom I had previously arrested on suspicion of drug driving. This male will now appear at court to answer these charges. Whilst on foot patrol, I came across an e-scooter rider who failed to stop when requested. I was able to intercept the rider shortly after and he was taken into custody on suspicion of a variety of driving offences, drug possession and assault on an emergency worker. My colleagues and I have attended an address to conduct enquiries into illegal e-bike usage, which has been contributing to antisocial behaviour in the area. We have seized a high-powered e-bike and a male suspected to be involved will be interviewed in relation to driving offences. Finally, I have sought out and arrested a male who was wanted on suspicion of stalking. This included the recovery of a quantity of suspected drugs and a weapon. The matter has been passed over to my colleagues in the investigation teams.As a reminder, I recently advertised an upcoming tool tagging event which will be held on 14th November 2026. I have organised this to provide those who live in rural areas the opportunity to have their tools and machinery protectively marked, and the event will be attended by officers from the Rural Task Force.
